The Hazardous Process Materials Systems Engineer duties
will include, but not be limited to: managing all aspects of the CNSE Total Gas and
Chemical Management (TGCM) contract; developing performance metrics and
reporting them monthly to CNSE management teams; providing feedback to the
procurement department on supplier performance and overseeing contract renewals
or modifications as required.
Candidate must be able to provide technical direction to TGCM suppliers, CNSE
staff, and CNSE tenants on gas and chemical delivery systems; maintain a working
knowledge of the design and installation procedures for specialty gas cabinets,
chemical distribution units (CDU), distribution lines, valve manifold boxes
(VMB.s), and control systems; understand the properties and hazards of all HPMs;
insure all gas and chemical systems are installed and operated with the proper safety
systems in place and ensure that all systems meet NYS building and fire code
requirements, investigate and report any safety violations, injuries, or near-misses
and ensure supplier implements appropriate action plans to prevent future
occurrences.
Candidate must be able to develop Scope-of-Work plans for design consultants on
HPM systems; support tool installations, and ensure gas and chemical delivery
systems are designed to meet the demand and specifications of connected tooling;
review tool hook-up P & ID.s, gas cabinet, and CDU installation drawings to ensure
designs are created properly; prepare cost estimates and space allocation
requirements of proposed systems for presentation to CNSE management; review
and punchlist completed systems and maintain all O & M manuals and as-builts;
maintain the site utility matrix for specialty gases and chemicals; track
connected load vs. capacity; anticipate the need for future capacity; manage
space requirements and oversee layout for gas cabinet rooms and chemical
distribution rooms.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical
A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical
Engineering or related field from a college or university accredited by the U.S.
Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization;
AND 10 years experience in HPM systems with a major semiconductor
manufacturer OR with a supplier to the semiconductor industry. Candidates

Support the BW philosophy of concurrent engineering. Support and maintain BW quality procedures and processes. 3. Prototype Procurement:   Initiates procurement of parts through the use of engineering parts list Monitor delivery of components and systems to avoid any potential delays from suppliers. Reporting to the Vice President of Fab Operations, the Director of Product Engineering is in charge of the Yield Engineering Group, Test Operations and CCA (Center for Complex Analysis) Lab. As the primary interface between the customers and the wafer fab, the Product engineering group is responsible for new product introduction (NPI), working with Module and Integration engineering team through product life cycle to develop and improve processes in order to optimize device performance and to ensure yield goals are achieved.





Specific Responsibilities Include:



Work with Module and Integration engineering teams to establish customer specific process flows, physical and electrical critical parameters to meet device performance requirements from initial introduction through a product's life cycle.
Establish process monitor through wafer level electrical test and sort test; work with process modules and Integration to reduce wafer to wafer, lot to lot variation in order to achieve optimal device performance and yield goals.
Provide technical expertise in investigating yield loss, identifying failure modes and performing root cause analysis. Provide feedback to the engineering teams to establish corrective and preventive measures.
Work with Quality organization and internal/external customers for technology qualification, and ensure products meet performance and reliability requirements
Support test chip development effort for early device learning and process characterization.
Establish advanced physical and chemical analytical lab capabilities in order to provide timely support for failure analysis, process development/monitoring, and yield improvement efforts.
Establish and manage the Test operations for parametric testing and wafer level reliability testing.
